PRODUCT DETAILS
Our work spots are booked with much time in advance, but we know sometimes it takes a little bit longer to define your wedding style or to gather all the information need for your wedding/event paper. If you’re sure you want us to make your invitations and/or day-of paper, you can purchase this retainer to block your space in our calendar and give us all the details later.
HOW IT WORKS
This retainer covers 50% of our minimum investment for each type of product.
- Semi-custom day-of paper: Minimum investment $150 - 50% deposit: $75
- Semi-custom invitations: Minimum investment $300 - 50% deposit: $150
- Custom day-of paper: Minimum investment $300 - 50% deposit: $150
- Custom invitations: Minimum investment $1,000 - 50% deposit: $500
This amount will be deducted from the total of your order. If you need both invitations and day-of pieces, you’ll need to save both spots in our calendar as day-of pieces are made at different timing.
Date requested. At checkout, you’ll be asked for the month when you need to have your pieces in hand. We’ll send you a personalized timeline after the order is placed to let you know the date when we need to start working on your pieces.
Please note that the earliest we work on a project is 6 months prior to the date you need to have them in hand, which should be at least 3 months before your wedding date so you can mail them out to your guests on time. Please visit our Etiquette Guide for recommended mailing times.
Change of date. We know sometimes life happens and a change of plans is inevitable.
- 0-3 months prior to the reserved date: Date changes will be subject to availability plus a 25% fee will be applied to the total of your order.
- 4+ months prior to the reserved date: Date changes will be subject to availability without a fee.
Cancellations. As your spot will be blocked in our calendar and it will keep us from booking another client, full refunds are not available.
- If you cancel 6+ months prior to the reserved date, we’ll issue a 50% refund, and the rest of the credit will go into a gift card to use for any product on our website.
- If you cancel 0-5 months prior to the reserved date, 100% of the credit will go into a gift card to use for any product on our website.

Production. This depends on the printing method and embellishments you selected for all your pieces.
Shipping. Shipping time is additional to production and it will depend on the method of your choice.

Depending on your chosen method, shipping will take 1-5 business days. Packages are shipped from San Diego, CA.
Please note that as much as we’d love to hand deliver every order, packages are in the hands of the shipping companies once they leave our studio, therefore we have to rely on their services. We don’t issue refunds for delays, lost, or undeliverable packages. Still, all invitation packages are shipped with insurance, so be sure that we’ll do our best to help you file a claim, and if time makes it possible, rush a reprint at a discounted price.

If you require quicker processing times, we may be able to accommodate a rush order. This will depend on our current workload and how soon the date requested is.
Rush orders will incur a rush order fee and might need a shipping upgrade.

- Promised shipping dates will completely depend on the customer being responsive, we won't be able to ship on time if the proofs aren't approved when needed.
